Bürgenstock Resort Alpine Spa

500 meters above Lake Lucerne

With the Bürgenstock Alpine SPA, as part of the revival of the Bürgenstock Resort, a resurgent hotel legend is given the new heart. The Alpine SPA of the legendary resort, which consists of an ensemble of several luxury hotels, is exposed above Lake Lucerne and offers a unique spa experience on 10,000 square meters as well as restaurants and a historic park.

Spa on 10.000 square meters

The light-flooded indoor pool, the spa area’s focal point, offers a magnificent view of the Alpine landscape of the central Switzerland. It is enhanced by the outdoor infinity pool, which is suspended high above the cliff face. On three levels hewn deep into the rock, there is a spa landscape with an interesting spatial character: it is determined by points of light and the rhythm of daylight as well as windows that allow targeted views.

After several years of construction and planning, the resort was honored with 28 awards and distinctions in the year it was opened. From national awards such as “GaultMillau Hotel of the Year 2019” to international recognition from renowned publications such as Condé Nast Traveler, Travel + Leisure, Robb Report and Town & Country, the Bürgenstock Resort is on everyone’s lips. The Bürgenstock Hotel & Alpine SPA received the most attention.
