Hotel at the marina

Wide view to the horizon

Fresh wind on the Baltic Sea. Located directly on the coast, in an attractive Baltic Sea resort Grömitz, the hotel is designed above the marina on an exposed site with a magnificent view on the sea and the romantic hilly landscape of the Eastern Holstein. We focused on the development of a holistic and sustainable hotel concept, both in structural and operational terms, with the resource-saving use of raw materials, long-term energy efficiency and the consideration of ESG criteria being a central component.

Sustainably developed hotel location

A maritime hotel of an upper category with a wide range of offers is planned on the sea side of the property, while a family hotel with modern characteristics is intended to be located on the land side. A total of around 175 guest rooms and apartments for employees are planned. The interaction of the new hotel location with the Baltic Sea resort Grömitz and the surrounding coastal region is an important aspect for the orientation of the hotel concept. In addition to the inviting and diverse range of indoor and outdoor gastronomy, the spa and wellness area and other publicly accessible areas, the maritime aura, determined by transparency, lightness and real materials, plays a major role.
