Lean Luxury
Above the marina, in the legendary Baltic Sea resort of Grömitz, a maritime hotel & retreat is being built with a wide view over the Baltic Sea – modern, luxurious and relaxed. The hotel opens onto the sea, emphasizing its relaxed and transparent atmosphere. The Lean Luxury philosophy stands for relaxed comfort in a characterful environment, lean and without excess with an efficient background.
Ruby Hotel & Retreat is about connecting with nature, with those close to you, as well as with yourself. The thoughtful concept offers spaces that promote these different types of connection, with unique design inspired by the beauty of the place. The boundaries between relaxation, work and rest become blurred when you enjoy public areas or retreat to your room. Generous outdoor areas create a flowing transition between inside and outside.
Efficient and harmonious
A leisure concept that reflects the Lean Luxury DNA: A space-efficient and modern concept with a contemporary, affordable form of luxury for the modern, cost- and style-conscious guest. On the sea side there is an upscale maritime hotel with a wide range of offerings, while on the land side there are the Ruby Suites with natural characteristics. A total of around 165 guest rooms and apartments for employees are planned on the property.
The interaction of the hotel location with the town and the coastal region is a central aspect for the orientation of the concept. In addition to the inviting and diverse offerings of indoor and outdoor dining, the wellness area and publicly accessible areas, the maritime charisma, determined by transparency, lightness and real materials, plays a key role.
